Must have skin lightening soaps!

 I just wanted to share with you my latest soap haul from www.flawlessbeautyandskin.com 

This is NOT a sponsored review! I paid all $112.64 of my own money for these products!  I don't know why people seem to think that companies give me things and my reviews are not my honest opinions!? I don't even think I'm that big of a deal yet.... All of my reviews are my honest opinions. I don't talk about things that I don't like, and I won't review products that I have not personally used on myself first. Ok, so now that I got that out of the way, let's move on! 

The first soap I'd like to introduce is the Relumins Glycolic Max AHA Soap. It is this beautiful blue marble swirl of skin peeling goodness!😋 This soap contains a Glycolic acid (AHA) which is a naturally derived fruit acid from sugar canes! It also has ingredients like Virgin Coconut Oil, Olive Oil , & Aloe to leave the skin soft and supple. This is an exfoliating soap, so I would not suggest you use this as your daily soap for long periods of time. 2 weeks on is good enough per month. Or you could do a month on and then take a break, depending if you have skin that is stubborn. You can use this soap on the face and body, and for $12.25 you can't beat this! I love this soap! That is why it's #1 on my list. 

Next up, 

Relumins Papaya Kojic Blend, now this soap is sort of replacing my KojieSan soap (although I did buy KojieSan as well anyway) . This soap I use it everyday on my body only. I personally find that Kojic Acid & Papaya is a bit harsh for the skin on your face, but if you like it for face, do what works for you! Everybody's skin is different and may require different strengths of products, so that is why you should take the recommendations for use lightly, and apply it how you see fit. This soap is supposed to be 3xs stronger than Diana Stalder. I think it's right up there in the same category, if skin lightening soaps have catagories lol! This soap is good if you have Melasma & Acne Scarring, it can diminish the scars and get your skin even, bright, and glowing! It also contains Bearberry which is another very important and effective skin lightening agent that is natural and safe! Try this amazing soap and let me know how it works for you! 

Next I picked up,

The Triple Black Soap also from the Relumins line! This one contains Licorice, Bearberry, and Benkoang. I am not exactly sure what Benkoang is and how it works, if any of you out there can enlighten me on this ingredient, that would be a major help! I did a bit a researching and was not able to find much information on it. I have used Licorice  soaps in the past, I find Licorice soaps to be very gentle and a step down from the Kojic/Papaya soaps. I think they are great for people who have dry skin and great for sensitive skin. It is non drying and won't leave your skin flaky. You can use it on the face and body . 

I purchased this one because it is just like the one above, in that it contains licorice, but it also contains Glutathione and Arbutin ( more concentrated extract of Bearberry plant) , this soap is safe and has no negative side effects. Which ingredient do you guys think works better, Bearberry or Arbutin? Do you think that Bearberry is better in it's pure form? Let me know your thoughts. 

Lastly, I had to purchase my all time favorite staple. I had not bought it in a while because I was using some other soaps from my earlier post...those soaps were promising , though not as effective as I had hoped. So I am back to my regular programming...

KojieSan!!!! This is my absolute favorite soap of all time! It micro exfoliates, contains minimal ingredients; pure Kojic acid, sweet orange oil, virgin coconut oil, Glycerine, Vegetable Extracts, and Vitamin C.  The perfect blend of skin lightening ingredients! You can use this on face and body, although I only use it on my body because I still think it's way too harsh for the face. This soap has me brighter in 2 weeks time. Love it!

I just want to add, DO NOT use any of these soaps if you have recently done or plan to do a skin peel. You risk skin damage so be careful!

Imperfection Begets Perfection

Hello Everyone!

          I wanted to share something with you all. I am going to be posting all of my skin care tips and beauty regimens on this blog, because I want to move in a different direction with my YouTube Channel. I would like to offer more variety on my channel, hair, makeup, fashion, and be multi-faceted like so many other gurus are. I mean why limit yourself right? I’ve noticed when you limit yourself, other people tend to limit you as well. Once you start doing one particular thing, people expect you to keep doing the same thing forever. That’s not me, I’m a Gemini, I like changing things up! Change is good!😊

Anyhow, this post is about my current skin regimen and how you don’t have to have perfect skin all the time. The photo above is me, without a stitch of makeup, with Skintrium’s Enhanced Super Spot Eraser plastered on my dark spots!! Lol, Many people think that just because I do YouTube videos on skincare that my skin is perfect. In fact, that is the exact opposite! I started doing YouTube videos and getting into skincare because my skin wasn’t perfect! “Perfect Skin” is the goal. I still have times when I break out and then I am a picker, lol so I often have dark spots when I breakout. Great skincare begins with imperfect skin! If you are consistent with the things that work well for you, ultimately you can have glowing flawless skin!

Right now, I am using M2 Exfoliating Facial Cleanser, the Purple Seabreeze Actives Toner, M2 Skin Recovery Moisturizer…these are my three steps day and night. At night I also apply Skintrium’s Enhanced Super Spot Eraser (which is what is on my face on the photo above) , and when I have breakouts I use Clean&Clear Persa-gel-10 (10% benzoyl peroxide) to dry them up. It works very quickly! I do this consistently day and night, drink plenty of water, and take my Glutathione & Vitamin C.

Having clear skin takes work and dedication for some people, like me, who are more prone to breakouts than others… And then some people are just lucky, they can wake up, clean their face with a towel & water and go!

Remember, the beginning of good skincare is imperfection. It’s the beginning of all self improvement. We want to look better, do better, and be better everyday!
