It finally feels like Spring here in Louisiana! The birds are fluttering, the bees and insects are buzzing around, flowers are starting to bloom! Lately, I have been in a happier and more festive mood because it's sunny outside and I am the type of person who's moods are affected by the weather. I don't like the doom & gloom of cold, rain, and thunderstorms! I'm single, I don't have anyone to cuddle up with, so the rain does nothing for me lol! They were having a buy one get one free sale and I wanted this Olive Palazzo Pants set, I knew this was the perfect time to get it!  I went online to order it and I got this outfit free! Today I am going on a thrift hunt because my very good friend tagged me in a "Thrift Shop Challenge". The goal is to emulate a celebrity's style whom the person who tagged you must choose. For me, she chose Kate Middleton, but since I could not find affordable suits, blazers, and petticoats, I decided to change my person to The Queen of Fashion....Rihanna!!! Besides Kim Kardashian, Rihanna is my fashion idol! I really admire that she is daring and could not give a flying f%&$ about what anyone else thinks! She is a risk taker, like myself. So I am SUPER EXCITED to do this challenge. I am going to go all out and do Riri proud! 

For my style today, I decided to go comfortable, simple, and chic in my boyfriend jeans! I absolutely love the person that invented boyfriend jeans! Thank you! They are soooo comfortable and you can dress them up or down.

   Winter is upon us! Here in Louisiana, it is beginning to show signs of the cold months ahead! So I thought this post should feature a look that represents that transition. When it's cold in the mornings and warmer in the evening, you might want to go for a look like this.

The dress is from MakeMeChic and it's giving me Kerry Washington (not Olivia Pope) but real life vibes! She loves cute dresses with unique patterns and prints! Classy and sophisticated at the same time! The shades I forgot were up there! LOL! 

I also want to address what to do if you want to simplify your wardrobe. In the past, I was all about colorful prints and patterns until last year when Kim Kardashian or (Kanye actually started dressing her) changed the game!  Kimye showed us what neutral colors can really do for your wardrobe! It shows a level of elite sophistication, grown woman ish!
