 Even though I didn't go to Coachella this year, it didn't stop me from getting into the Festival spirit! Plus we have the Crawfish Festival and a ton of interesting southern style events coming up soon! I spotted this dress at H&M and I couldn't resist! Fringe is a HUGE trend this spring as well as prints, this is a perfect marriage of the two!

Here is a look that I did a few days ago! It was giving me very Retro vibes! I always feel like an old soul, like maybe I was supposed to be born in the 1900's so I could grow up in the 1920's , 30's , 40's , & 50's .....who knows, I may be somebody's grandmother reincarnated! LOL! I'd like to think I'm some thing like a Josephine Baker of our modern times...

 I'm finally back from out of town and getting back to my normal routine. Over the past weekend, we traveled to Dallas,TX to top off Sean's Spring Break! It was wonderful trip! We got to catch up with some of our long-time friends and have some fun at Jumpstreet, which is a trampoline park. We also went to see "HOME" starring Rihanna as the voice of Tip! It was such a cute movie, I didn't think I would have liked it, but I was wrong.

 How was your Easter Holiday (if you celebrated)? Mine was fantastic! Easter also marked the beginning of Spring Break for the kids so Sean is out of school and we are having so much fun!

Ruched Up in Olive - Celine, BCBG, ALDO

Hello Sirens!

 Lately I've been obsessed with Ruched fabrics and draped designs. I picked up this dress from BCBG, I was particularly drawn to it because it is one of my favorite colors, an olive green. This dress is not just a typical olive green though, the color is very vibrant and reminiscent of spring time! What better time to show off this piece? I had a hard time getting photos though because the insects were drawn to this color as well and I got chased by a few wasps! No problem...

It finally feels like Spring here in Louisiana! The birds are fluttering, the bees and insects are buzzing around, flowers are starting to bloom! Lately, I have been in a happier and more festive mood because it's sunny outside and I am the type of person who's moods are affected by the weather. I don't like the doom & gloom of cold, rain, and thunderstorms! I'm single, I don't have anyone to cuddle up with, so the rain does nothing for me lol!  What's up! The weather has been so bad lately, it seems to rain almost everyday! Even though the weather isn't great, it doesn't stop me from shooting outfits for you all because I set up a home studio. Snow Days

Hello Sirens!

  As some of you who follow me on Instagram (@SirenGlam) may know, I had taken a break from social media for a while so that I can focus my efforts and contemplate things as well as prepare for some cool things I have to show you guys. So I had been away from Instagram for 3 weeks until something marvelous happened this week!!!! It snowed huge snowflakes and completely covered everything in a beautiful white blanket of fluffyness!!! It was as if Elsa from FROZEN had ran through our neighborhood touching everything she saw! This was an event that certainly brought me out of hiding! 

Now, I don't know where all of you guys are from (I'd love to know....comment below), but here in Louisiana, snow is not something we have the pleasure of enjoying often! So we were all very excited to see it.

My Adventure to Earth Odyssey...

 On my trip to New Orleans I visited "Earth Odyssey" which is a quaint little shop that sells crystals and natural/ man made gemstones. I believe that crystals and gemstones contain different powers and abilities to help with healing, whether it be emotional or physical, and assist with other personal issues. That is why when I read the reviews about this shop on YELP, I had to make it a point to go there on this trip, PLUS they have very gifted psychics there and I wanted to get a reading done for the first time in my life!
